My actual playlist has over 300 songs, but for this shrine I selected some old school classics that are particularly iconic for me. Please enjoy!

What separates nightcore from "sped up" music? Personally, I think it has to call itself nightcore, have an anime cover and either be from the 00s/10s or trying to replicate nightcore videos from that time. At least, that's my criteria for the nightcore I listen to personally.
Consider this shrine a gift to my middle school self! Nightcore blew my mind the first time I heard it, probably because it was part of what introduced me to otaku culture. Admittedly it's quite polarizing. You either love it or you hate it. But there's something about it that still captivates me to this day.
It reminds me of simple and happy moments in my life.
And sure, I recognize that nightcore edits don't provide anything substantial to a song. But as long as this is my little corner of the internet, I wanted to make a tribute to something that brings me a lot of nostalgia and comfort. I can always put it on and go somewhere familiar.
